Timeless BLue Love

The sky is dimming, glowing an ever deeper blue
sprinkled with pinholes that let the stars in.
I walk along the beach, trying not to think of
anything predicatable to say; I hope she can read
me like she says, cause they haven't invented the
right words yet.

Something powerful comes over me, stronger than
the cool breeze that tickles my skin. As I stroll
away from the street lights near the end of the road
where my car is, the air becomes bluer, and the moon
bigger, fuller, and brighter. While not revealing her
true hair color, the moon nonethless bathes it in
something that feels warm; and the cool breezes that
give me goose bumps make her tuck her legs to her
chest more. As I come closer, her deep eyes shine
with the cool light of the moon. The sand seems
blue; the water, glass. Her subtle smile and tilted
glance holds me in place as I walk closer still.

Everything is bathed in blue and moonlight, and the
coolness of her skin quickly fades as I caress her
shoulder. I sit straddled behind her, holding her
close to me. No words spoken yet; I guess they weren't
needed after all. Here is where my heart, soul and
spirit live -- on this secluded beach, with the finest
sand, the bluest air, and the warmest moonlight. The
smell of salt in her hair is like perfume to me, and
something corporeal, yet more than simple flesh is here.
No one yet offers such comfort. Here I sit, with no
one but her. I remember no parents, envision no children.
Here is where I find my eternity. We hear only the ocean,
and the beating of each other's hearts. We sit there,
still, calm, embracing, embraced in blue, no past, no
future, but full of hope.
